AEW Dynamite scored another lopsided ratings victory over WWE NXT this week, doubling the competition's number in the key 18-49 demographic.

Dynamite came through with a 0.32, down on the previous week's 0.36, while NXT slumped to 0.16. There was a slight delay in NXT's numbers coming through as the show failed to finish in the top 50 shows for the night, falling to number 65 instead. AEW has now finished in the top 10 for seven consecutive weeks.

As far as overall viewership goes, Dynamite fell from the previous week's 901,000 to 792,000. NXT dropped from 753,000 to 619,000. This week was therefore the WWE brand's least-watched episode since 17 May and close to 100,000 viewers lower than the show's two-month average.

A total of 1.411 million viewers watched live professional wrestling on Wednesday night, which is the lowest since 10 June. It should be noted that the Discovery Network's Shark Week, extensive political news coverage, the NBA, MLB, and NHL playoffs meant there was stiffer competition than usual this week.

Quarter-hour viewing figures are yet to emerge, making it impossible to determine the night's biggest individual winners and losers.
