WWE NXT's two-week winning streak is over, as AEW Dynamite recovered to top the black-and-gold brand's overall viewership for the first time since 1 April this week.

Dynamite's average came in at 731,000 across its two hours - a 7% increase on the previous show. NXT, meanwhile, slid 4% to 665,000.

As far as the key 18-49 demographic goes, AEW came through with a number identical to last week's 0.25 rating, while NXT increased from 0.17 to 0.18. This jump was enough for NXT to finish in the top 50 rankings for the first time in months.

NXT retained their advantage in viewers aged over 50 and tied with Dynamite in females aged 12-34, though the AEW show topped their WWE opposition in every other demographic.

Dynamite was the 11th most-watched non-news show on cable on Wednesday night and NXT the 22nd.

Both viewerships and 18-49 ratings are below the shows' respective averages since the Wednesday Night Wars kicked in last year, and this is unlikely to change until live crowds are able to return to wrestling shows. For now, these deflated numbers are the norm, with only incremental changes from week to week.
