AEW Rampage Hits Highest TV Ratings Since October 2021

Good numbers for the 28 January AEW Rampage featuring Jade Cargill, Jon Moxley and more.

Last week's episode of AEW Rampage saw the show post a near four-month ratings high in the key 18-49 demographic.

As originally reported by Wrestlenomics' Brandon Thurston, a total of 601,000 viewers watched Rampage on Friday 28 January. This number included 323,000 aged between 18 and 49 for a P18-49 rating of 0.25. Excluding the irregular Christmas Day episode, this was Rampage's highest P18-49 figure since its 1 October 2021 episode. In addition, overall viewership was the best it has been since 29 October.

The previous week's Rampage drew 594,000 total viewers including 318,000 P18-49.

AEW's second show continues to perform well in its difficult 10 PM ET timeslot. Finishing ninth on the night amongst original cable telecasts, the show was third in its slot, outdone only by two NBA games that drew 0.37 and 0.43 P18-49 ratings on ESPN.

Overall, Rampage drew an average of 577,000 weekly viewers in January 2022, with the P18-49 average sitting at 301,000. The past two episodes outperformed both of these numbers.

Subtitled 'Championship Friday', last week's Rampage was bolstered by TBS Champion Jade Cargill vs. Julia Hart and Tag Team Champions Jurassic Express vs. Private Party, as well as Jon Moxley vs. Anthony Bowens.
