AEW referee Bryce Remsburg has fired back at fan criticism on Twitter following this past Wednesday's edition of flagship show Dynamite.

Several fans online pointed out that Remsburg and other company officials were holding ladders in place during a few high spots in the 'Face Of The Revolution' multi-man. Three refs, including Bryce, were also there to hold the ladder steady for eventual winner Powerhouse Hobbs.

Remsburg was having none of the criticism. He replied to one fan's tweet and said: "Would you rather we let our coworker break his neck next time?". That, again, prompted others to jump in on the chat and suggest (amongst other things) that AEW wrestlers shouldn't "spam a thousand death spots for no good reason".

Others said that referees blatantly holding ladders in place on camera took away from the danger of such a big gimmick bout. Bryce's comments show that he's very much safety first when it comes to these things though.

A few fans even went on to tag none other than Jim Cornette in the conversation, which has become commonplace whenever some fancy hearing the veteran manager/promoter/commentator rant about modern pro wrestling.
