AEW Star Compared To Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Steve Austin AND The Rock
Someone just compared Wardlow to some of WWE's most legendary superstars.
WWE Hall Of Famer and current AEW announcer Mark Henry has referred to Wardlow as "an unbelievable competitor" who is "going to be even better" soon.
Henry told SportsKeeda that the current reigning TNT Champion has the potential to "be the most dominant force in pro wrestling since Brock Lesnar, since Goldberg, since The Rock...since Steve Austin!". That's some seriously high praise from the one-time 'Sexual Chocolate'.
Mark reckons it'll only take Wardlow a few years to reach that level too - he's predicting that MJF's old bodyguard will be one of the industry's top stars "in the next two years". No pressure on the big man then, eh?
Wardlow toppled Scorpio Sky for AEW's TNT Title on the 6 July edition of Dynamite. Their 'Street Fight' received a lot of praise from grappling critics and fans alike, and it cemented the muscle man's status as somebody Tony Khan is very high on.
Henry agrees with his boss that Wardlow has all the tools to blow up and become a pro wrestling megastar. Being compared to the likes of Lesnar, 'Stone Cold', Goldberg and The Rock isn't something that happens for every worker.
