The AEW star, speaking via his podcast, pointed to a recent decision made before the company's Full Gear pay-per-view as proof of Khan's creative thinking. Originally, Jericho was pencilled in to defend the ROH World Title in a one-on-one bout vs. Claudio Castagnoli. Then, that got changed to a three-way also involving Bryan Danielson.

Tony was the one who suggested that Jericho's fellow JAS stablemate Sammy Guevara be added to the match so AEW could work in friction between members of that group and the Blackpool Combat Club. Jericho absolutely loved that idea, and said it's the kind of creativity that sets Khan apart.

The boss wanted to double scoop on faction in-fighting and then branch off from there on Dynamite and Rampage.

Jericho admitted that he "wasn't quite feeling" the dynamic when it was a Triple Threat - he didn't think being outnumbered two-on-one would give the match balance, so Tony swooped in with the Guevara addition and saved the day.
