Current AEW World Champion Kenny Omega claims that developing the women's division is still his "main goal".

Omega told Yahoo! that he hopes more women get the chance to invade AEW and "show how talented and hungry they are". Despite obviously focusing on his own career too (the dude has a busy schedule), Kenny says he refuses to give up on helping as many women as possible get their shot.

He was very clear with his words, and added, "I truly believe to this day that women deserve more time, deserve their own show - center stage". Omega then went on to reveal that his "ultimate goal" is to push women's wrestling onto the biggest platform possible, because he thinks they are some of the most talented workers in the world.

For now, he's content to "take baby steps", but says that "every one of them has to be a home run".

Kenny is passionate about women's wrestling, and clearly believes it should be pushed to the forefront of the product alongside him and others. Most fans would agree that AEW's female ranks haven't been the best since the company launched though.
