AEW's Sammy Guevara "Exhausted" By Drama In Wrestling
Sammy Guevara speaks out on AEW drama amidst recent controversy.
Drama might be erupting around Sammy Guevara at the moment - but the man himself has claimed he finds such things "exhausting."
The past 24 hours have seen Guevara go to social media war with AEW rostermate Andrade El Idolo, whom he told to "f*** off" and "go back to WWE", stemming, seemingly, from Andrade mentioning Sammy complaining about him working too stiff. Now, the Jericho Appreciation Society member has used his vlog to speak on the situation.
Guevara claimed that even while he was on vacation, somebody was trying to start a situation with him. But despite being worn out by pro wrestling drama, he accepts it as part of the life he has chosen, saying (h/t Fightful):-
"There's just so much drama that goes on in wrestling, it's really exhausting. It's tiring. Seems like every couple of weeks is something I'm minding my own business, on vacation, and then, you know, people want to start drama with me. It is what it is. It's the life I signed up for, I suppose. But it's definitely tiring and maybe I'll need to go on another vacation next week because... [sighs] stressful. Either way, for the people that actually support me, for the people who watch these vlogs, part of the Vlog Crew, I appreciate you."
In his last interaction, Andrade El Idolo told Guevara that he would see him on Wednesday. Both are due to wrestle on tonight's AEW tapings in Washington DC, where Guevara and Chris Jericho team against Bryan Danielson and Daniel Garcia on Dynamite, while Andrade faces Dark Order's 10 in a Career vs. Mask match for Friday's Rampage.
