AJ Styles Vs. John Cena Vs. Dean Ambrose Announced For WWE No Mercy 2016

AJ Styles may have become the WWE World Champion at Backlash, but he won't have much time to bask in the glow of his victory. On Smackdown, Commissioner Shane McMahon announced that Styles would defend his title at No Mercy against Dean Ambrose and the returning John Cena in a triple threat match.
Styles opened Smackdown on Tuesday bragging about his win, but he was interrupted by Cena, who hasn't been on WWE TV since losing to "The Phenomenal One" at SummerSlam. Cena showed no signs of stress from the loss, instead telling the champ that he was determined to beat him for the title and become a 16-time world champion.
That brought out Ambrose, who was still entitled to a rematch with Styles. He dressed down the new champion for beating him with a low blow at Backlash, but Cena interrupted "The Lunatic Fringe" to criticize him for a tepid run as champion. Ambrose's retort - that Cena is now a "lazy part-timer" who can't get the job done in the ring anymore - left Big Match John irate.
McMahon then interrupted the argument, announcing the triple threat match for the Pay-Per-View.
No Mercy airs live on the WWE Network at 8:00 ET on October 9.
