Aleister Black And Santana Garrett Comment On Their WWE Releases
Black and Garrett were two of the six talents today released by WWE.
Following the shocking news of six further WWE releases earlier today, two of those let go by the company have taken to social media to comment on their WWE exits.
If you’ve somehow missed it, Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Ruby Riott, Lana, Santana Garrett and Buddy Murphy are the latest set of names to be released by Vince McMahon’s sports entertainment behemoth.
Black was the first of these names to take to Twitter with his thoughts, in addition to changing his Twitter handle back to his Tommy End mantle.
Im gathering my thoughts as this was a complete left field for me as obviously we just started the dark father character but this was it, thank you so much WWE universe for allowing me to create and give you small bits of myself.

Alongside Strowman, the Dutch Destroyer’s release is clearly one of the more surprising ones – in particular due to how the former NXT Champion had only just made his return to WWE TV after spending nearly six months not being used by the company.
As well as Aleister Black commenting on his release, Santana Garrett is another to have made her first post-WWE statement.
Thank you, @wwe ?❤️✨

Many had high hopes when Santana formally signed with WWE in 2019, and she seemed like a great ‘get’ for the NXT brand who could be utilised on Raw or SmackDown down the line. While Garrett did make sporadic appearances on main roster programming during her tenure with the company, she ultimately felt like one of many talents who WWE just didn’t really know what to do with.
This latest round of WWE releases follows similar cuts in April and May, and it remains to be seen whether anymore releases will follow these six names.
