Alexa Bliss vs Every SmackDown Female Wrestler Booked For WrestleMania 33
Alexa Bliss to defend against "every available woman on the Smackdown Live roster".
Alexa Bliss has already taken on most of the women on Smackdown, but at WrestleMania, she'll have to do it all over again. Tuesday on Smackdown, general manager Daniel Bryan announced that, at the show of shows, Bliss will defend her title against "every available woman on the Smackdown Live roster."
Bliss began her second reign as Smackdown Women's Champion on February 21, beating Becky Lynch to win the vacant championship. Though Naomi had won the belt from Bliss nine days earlier at Elimination Chamber, she was forced to vacate it due to a knee injury.
On this week's show, Bliss was bragging about how she'd beaten all of her challengers when she was interrupted by Becky, who demanded another chance to win back the championship. That brought out Natalya, who claimed to have reached a deal with Bliss that would give her a title match at WrestleMania. Bliss denied that such a deal was made, prompting Mickie James to claim that she and Bliss had reached a similar agreement.
That brought out Bryan, who booked the bout that will take place at WrestleMania. With "every available woman" invited, Bliss can expect to defend against Becky, James, Natalya, Carmella, and - if she recovers in time - Naomi.
WrestleMania airs live on the WWE Network on Sunday, April 2 at 7:00 PM.
