Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann has been cleared of all charges relating to his December arrest, as reported by F4WOnline.com.

Swann, 26, was taken into custody following a public incident with his wife, Vanarrah Riggs, with witnesses claiming the 205 Live star had put his partner in a headlock and forcibly pulled her back to his car. Swann denied physically touching Riggs, whom he'd argued with earlier, and was reportedly screaming for help throughout. WWE suspended him for violating their zero tolerance policy against domestic abuse later that day, though he was released 24 hours later.

Riggs posted a positive Facebook update in mid-December, claiming that she "can not wait to see my husband tomorrow," and the couple have since reconciled.

Charges of false imprisonment/kidnapping (a third degree felony) and misdemeanour domestic battery were dropped as the court decreed there was insufficient evidence to sustain a conviction. Thus, the case cannot move forward.

WWE are yet to comment on Swann's status. There's a chance this news could lead to him returning to television, but the company's strong stance on such issues means this may not be the case.
