Another WWE WrestleMania Rematch Announced For Backlash
Bobby Lashley versus Omos would be the fourth Mania 38 rematch for upcoming PLE.
If you enjoyed WrestleMania 38, then WWE is hoping you'll love WrestleMania Backlash. At least, that must be the case as they booked their fourth Mania rematch for the upcoming premium live event on Raw Monday night.
Although it seemed pretty obvious last week, WWE made it official on Monday with Omos challenging and Bobby Lashley accepting for a rematch at Backlash, setting the two on a collision course in less than two weeks.
The two had a short, but spirited match at WM 38 earlier this month that Lashley won, but one major thing has changed since then: MVP turned on his former charge Lashley and sided with Omos, giving the Colossus a much-needed mouthpiece and an advantage outside the ring.
Lashley and Omos battled in an arm-wrestling match Monday night, with the All Mighty triumphing, but Omos dropped the former WWE champ and laid him out with the table, bashing him repeatedly. Later, he and MVP issued the challenge.

Lashley winning the arm wrestling contest (and the WM 38 match) shows that he is more than capable of overcoming Omos, though the MVP factor could easily tip the scales back to the Colossus' favor. No one should be expecting a scientific classic here, but we should get a decent hoss battle between two behemoths.
