Ringside News are reporting that WWE don't have major plans for Rey, Dominik or Aalyah Mysterio at the moment. That's why the family trio were posted missing on last Friday's episode of SmackDown.

What's more, it doesn't look like they'll be at TLC this Sunday either.

The report states that WWE are likely building to some sort of six-man tag effort pitting Rey, Dominik and Murphy against 'King' Corbin, Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler, but that's more likely to take place on TV over the next few weeks rather than on pay-per-view.

Despite the angle involving old foe Murphy's romance with Aalyah, there's no doubt that this is a step down for the Mysterio clan. Working with Corbin and his new 'Knights Of The Lone Wolf' isn't quite as high profile as warring with Seth Rollins was before.

Backstage sources told the site that Rey, Dominik and Aalyah aren't taking a brief holiday during the festive season. They also said this wasn't a case of talents "hanging around backstage" waiting to see if they were being used.

There's no word yet on whether or not the Mysterios will be on this week's SmackDown.
