Updated: WWE has already begun sending out emails to subscribers to make them aware of some changes coming to the WWE Network. Right now, the main changes seem to be a new interface and an improved search facility (finally!). These changes will be implemented over the next week or so, with the new look and better search options automatically being applied to the service.

Ever since the WWE Network first launched back in 2014, there have been regular rumblings that WWE may be looking to introduce a tiered system for the on-demand platform. And now, it looks as if just such a tiering system could well be put in place sooner rather than later.

In a report from PWInsider, this week’s Raw and SmackDown Live shows saw a lot of talk taking place backstage about finally implementing and launching several new subscription options for the WWE Network. These talks centred around how WWE is close to pulling the trigger on this change-up for the company’s ridiculously popular service.

Despite supposedly being close to launching, however, there are still no details available on just what pricing plans or packages will be available for WWE Network subscribers going forward.

Previously, there has been speculation that independent promotions such as EVOLVE and ICW could air on WWE Network as part of a higher-priced subscription, and some have even suggested that WWE house shows could feature on the service. But first and foremost, how 'bout we get a smoother search facility, yeah? Thanks Vince.

This past April, WWE Co-President George Barrios confirmed that WWE plans to relaunch the WWE Network at some point in 2019. Now, it looks as if said relaunch could finally be about to happen.
