Kenny Omega will debut for Impact Wrestling next Tuesday night, as confirmed at the end of AEW Winter Is Coming on Wednesday.

This came following a shocking World Title match between Omega and Jon Moxley, who was felled by 'The Cleaner' thanks to interference from Impact Executive Vice President Don Callis, who slid a microphone into the ring that Kenny used to blast Mox and take the win. Callis and Omega fled the scene afterwards, with the former Cyrus the Virus promising he and Kenny would address the situation in Impact.

Per a new report from Fightful Select, the Impact and AEW locker-rooms were both kept in the dark (to a degree) as this played out. Some AEW employees had heard Callis would be making appearances as part of a storyline, though further details weren't divulged, while Impact wrestlers who had heard talk of the AEW link were informed that there wasn't much to it at the company's latest set of TV tapings.

Impact's locker-room is said to be particularly happy about the buzz created by Wednesday's events.

As far as Omega's Impact debut goes, the new AEW World Champion wasn't at the latest set of tapings but will be in Nashville next Tuesday, where he will shoot his content. A number of other Impact personnel will also be on hand that day.
