Alexa Bliss' ongoing battle with WWE's fitness test continued this week when the company ruled her out of Money In The Bank after yet another stop-start month between the ropes.

'The Goddess' has only wrestled once since returning with a victory over Bayley on the Raw after WrestleMania, and less than 20 times over house shows and other events across all of 2019, and the most recent Wrestling Observer Radio has implied yet more time out for the former multi-time Women's Champion.

Speaking directly on the matter, Dave Meltzer said; “Alexa Bliss from what I understand, the actual medical condition that WWE has released internally is ‘undisclosed’ … and ‘undisclosed’ has become a euphemism for concussion. That doesn’t mean for sure that it’s a concussion although it’s been reported by several people that it’s a concussion and certainly that would be the one you’d expect and she did throw up after taking a bad bump and that often also means concussion.”

Nikki Cross will replace Bliss at tonight's Money In The Bank pay-per-view after the organisation forced through a last-minute bond between them on the go-home Raw. Aware of the ongoing drama, Alexa Bliss took to Twitter to bat back recent rumours, noting that her career is "just fine" - though only when she can show rather than tell are most fans likely to rest easy on her future.
