Becky Lynch Offers Asuka WWE Raw Women's Championship Match
'The Man' wants 'The Empress Of Tomorrow' in 2020.
Becky Lynch has challenged Asuka to a Raw Women's Championship match, potentially to take place at the 2020 Royal Rumble.
'The Man' laid out the offer in a promo on last night's taped WWE Monday Night Raw after teasing as much the week before.
In the promo, Lynch noted that she felt that the company were "protecting" her from defeat by not booking a match with the current Women's Tag Team Champion. Following on from 2019's Royal Rumble singles clash and last week's TLC main event, the titleholder has admitted that Asuka has thus far had the measure of her.
Defiantly batting back the possibility that she didn't want to prove herself and the company wrong, Lynch proclaimed that "The Man versus Asuka needs to happen next. And I'm not taking No for an answer". The segment concluded with Lynch reiterating as much in Japanese.
Stood on the Raw stage as Becky laid out the challenge, Asuka didn't formally except but appeared more than game for the fight. The Rumble looks the most likely destination considering the one year gap between their last major singles conflict.
