As per Phoenix's statement, she will still remain a part of WWE, but her time on commentary is coming to an end so that she can spend more time with her family.

As alluded to by the Glamazon, she returned to WWE in 2018 and initially worked as a guest commentator for main roster shows and the Mixed Match Challenge. Phoenix would start a full-time gig at the NXT announce table in May 2019, with that run now due to come to an end this weekend.

A three-time Women's Champion, one-time Divas Champion and a WWE Hall of Famer, Beth Phoenix is viewed as one of the greatest female talents of the modern era. At a time when WWE had an awful habit of veering towards models and reality show wannabes, Phoenix was an ass-kicking powerhouse who proved to be an inspiration to so many of the women who have followed her.

Beth's initial stint with WWE came to an end in 2012, with her having since explained how she departed the company due to becoming frustrated with the lack of focus on the promotion's women's division. A Hall of Fame induction came in 2017, and Phoenix would once again compete in a WWE ring at the following year's Royal Rumble. Since then, Beth has wrestled a further three TV matches - the most recent of which being her participation in the 2020 women's Royal Rumble bout.
