Big Title Match And "Obstacle Course" Set For Next Week's WWE SmackDown
WWE confirms a title match and unique segment for next week's SmackDown.
WWE lined up some matches and segments for next week's SmackDown on last night's episode.
Apollo Crews cheated to beat Sami Zayn, and that has apparently earned him another crack at Big E's Intercontinental Title. E watched the action unfold from a couch WWE wheeled out next to the commentary desk, because of course he did - the IC Champ does things a little differently.
Crews has already lost an IC Title match, but he seems to have aligned with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman recently. Fingers crossed that doesn't spoil E's singles push.
Later on the show, Bayley debuted her new 'Ding Dong, Hello!' interview segment and furthered her ongoing feud with Bianca Belair. After they bickered back and forth, Bayley fired out a bizarre obstacle course challenge to the former track and field star.
It remains to be seen what WWE have in mind here. They may seriously be about to set out some cones and mimic the old NXT concept from 2010-2011. It's also not going to be a shocker if Bayley ambushes Belair mid-sprint and starts rag-dolling her around ringside.
