Bruan Strowman injured his elbow last month and WWE told fans he was going to potentially miss six months of in-ring action. As many people assumed, that was all a work. According to PWInsider, Braun has already been cleared to return to the ring.

The company knew he wasn't going to actually be out for that long but wanted to make him seem superhuman by beating the doctor's extended timeline by months.

Still, this is great news for WWE as the product is in a major creative slump right now. The Raw ratings just hit a new low for the year and besides Brock Lesnar vs. Samoa Joe, there isn't much of a buzz for the brand in general. Strowman will inject some badly needed star power on the flagship show on a week-to-week basis.

The company already announced that Roman Reigns was going to make his SummerSlam plans known next week and it's quite possible Strowman will play into that ceremony. The two may end up feuding at Great Balls of Fire or perhaps drag things out until the biggest show of the summer.

Either way, it's great to have another over act back in the mix to shake up things up on Raw.
