Bray Wyatt Challenges John Cena To 'Firefly Fun House' Match At WrestleMania 36
Another stipulation bout for 'Mania was confirmed on SmackDown...
Bray Wyatt and John Cena's WrestleMania 36 battle will be fought as a 'Firefly Fun House Match' next weekend.
Wyatt announced the stip on an episode of his barmy children's TV show during the latest edition of SmackDown, but he didn't give too much away. At this point, it's unclear exactly what 'Firefly Fun House' rules are. It's expected that Cena will enter the same realm Seth Rollins did during a segment on Raw last October, and that the pair will brawl around the show's set.
WWE might not stop there. Let's be honest, they can afford to be creative on two cards as weird as 'Mania 36's will be anyway. Fans aren't going to mind too much if things get cheesy, or if they're treated to something totally unique.
Any tricks the company do have up their sleeves will surely be better than seeing Wyatt's 'Fiend' lose in some five-minute match in-ring. They've got the chance to do some seriously bizarre stuff here.
So far, 'Mania 36 boasts a 'Boneyard Match' between The Undertaker and AJ Styles, a 'Last Man Standing' bout between Randy Orton and Edge, a Ladder-based scrap for the SmackDown Tag Titles and now this 'Firefly Fun House' mystery.
It's gimmick overload, which is probably understandable given the empty arena circumstances.
