John Cena suffered an eye injury over the weekend at a live event in Madison, Wisconsin. Bray Wyatt is reportedly the culprit, braying Cena so hard it caused his eye to swell completely shut. Monday night's RAW cameras were supposed to shoot Cena from a distance, to make the injury not look as abrasive and serious for viewers at home. Wyatt could be punished for the incident, just like he was when he ironically again poked Cena in the eye whilst performing under the Husky Harris gimmick. Wrestling Observer reports that WWE management sent Wyatt back to developmental for that prior incident because he did not "apologize to Cena enough" for his indiscretion. This time around, Wyatt will not be demoted to NXT for his wrongdoing. Rather, he will probably be reprimanded backstage for the incident. Cena looked healthy on Raw as he teamed up with the Shield to face-off against the Wyatt Family. Judging by the in-ring actions of both men, there didn't seem to be hard feelings either way. Normally, the fans can tell if one man is truly frustrated with the other. One wrestler will start to be very aggressive and "stiff," causing real-life injuries to be a probability. Wyatt is already confirmed to be in the Money in the Bank Title match, while Cena is still a potential candidate for a spot. The feud seems to be over between the two warriors, but bad blood could arise at the pay-per-view, leading to a blow-off fight at SummerSlam.
