Bret Hart Says Daniel Bryan Will Never Wrestle Again
“Daniel Bryan is finished. He’ll never wrestle again. I don’t think he knows it yet."
Sports Illustrated, Hart suggests that the situation regarding Bryan's chronic nerve trouble is reminiscent of when his own career ended prematurely through injury in 2000. Hart said; Hart also talked about Tyson Kidd's neck injury and the dangers of Samoa Joe's Muscle Buster that was used when he got hurt on June 1.
WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart doesn't believe Daniel Bryan will ever wrestle again. Speaking with Daniel Bryan is finished. Hell never wrestle again. I dont think he knows it yet. I feel terrible about Daniel Bryan. For all intents and purposes, he had the exact same thing happen to him that happened to me after Bill Goldberg kicked me in the head . One day, you learn its over. Doctors tell you that you cant wrestle and youll never wrestle again. I lost millions of dollars because of that. I pray that its not the same for Daniel Bryan. While Hart's opinion shouldn't be considered fact, he is somebody that has experience in the matter. When Goldberg hit Hart with a stiff kick in the head in December 1999, he didn't realise just how bad his concussion was and he still wrestled for a few more weeks. He was forced to retire soon after even though he planned on wrestling for a few more years. There's still no update on Bryan's injury or what his status may be, but he remains out indefinitely.
Its extremely dangerous. The move that Samoa Joe did was reckless, and the way they rushed that match beforehand in the back without giving Tyson time to prepare was mistake. Tyson is, pound for pound, one of the best wrestlers in the world. And that includes his mind. If you went behind the scenes at WWE, Tyson is an intricate piece of so many other matches. Its a shame that a guy who is that talented and given so much to the company is hurt, but I just hope its not so serious that his career is over.Kidd's diagnosis is still unknown, although it's clear he suffered a serious neck injury and if he needs surgery he may miss a year of action or more. Hart noted that they are hoping for the best.
