Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho have been added to the WWE Fastlane pay-per-view, which is scheduled to take place on February 21st in Cleveland. The Quicken Arena is advertising both men, with particular emphasis on Lesnar's appearance. Given the fact that it is the arena advertising this information, it is likely that the additions are not linked to John Cena's injury, which has now ruled him out for 6-9 months. There's no indication of what either Lesnar or Jericho will be doing at the show, but there's a chance Lesnar could be involved in some sort of number one contender bout. That would then set him up for a rematch with WWE Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. That's presuming Reigns successfully defends the WWE Title in January's Royal Rumble match. The booking means that Lesnar is now on three WWE specials in a row, Royal Rumble, Fastlane and WrestleMania. He's one of WWE's biggest stars and adds a lot of value to these shows. As for Jericho, he has came and gone so many times, often in meaningless feuds. With that in mind, his return really doesn't mean that much, he doesn't add a great deal to the Fastlane card. That said, an in-form Jericho is always fun to watch, let's just hope WWE have some decent creative for him to work with.
