Brock Lesnar has made a rare public appearance when he attended a Minnesota Volleyball game on Thursday night. The @GopherVBall twitter account has tweeted a photo of the WWE World Heavyweight Champion with their Gopher mascot. Brock was wearing an all denim look for the occasion. "Thanks to @BrockLesnar for coming out to support the #Gophers at tonight's match!" is what was tweeted. We know Lesnar is a big sports fan and he has a deep sentiment for Minnesota. He attended the University and won his various amateur wrestling plaudits in the state. As for if you'll be seeing Brock Lesnar back in the WWE ring any time soon, the company is reportedly keen on rushing back his return if the upcoming WWE Network numbers release isn't good. The WWE Champion's early comeback in November could help the company cover up the bad numbers to an extent. More likely is the WWE Network numbers will be in line with expectations, particularly since the Network has launched worldwide. That would mean there's less need for Brock to be rushed back, so WWE will stick to plans for him returning on the December 8th Raw. That will be the night of the Slammys and WWE can then start to build for Brock's planned WWE title match defending against John Cena. That match will take place at the Royal Rumble. Despite being WWE World Heavyweight Champion, we've barely seen or heard from Lesnar in the past month, something which has arguably hurt WWE's product. The long term plan is that it will pay dividends when Lesnar puts over Roman Reigns and drops the title at WrestleMania 31. After that, his WWE contract is set to expire, and the UFC seem primed to swoop in for his signature.
