Brock Lesnar Returning To WWE?
All plans for Lesnar were dropped after Janel Grant's lawsuit against Vince McMahon.
Having been pulled from this year's Royal Rumble and all further creative plans, could Brock Lesnar's return to WWE be on the horizon?
Speaking on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez noted how "moves" and "inquiries" have been made about Lesnar returning to action.
As picked up on by WrestlingNews.co, Alvarez stated:
"In the last few days, there have been moves regarding Brock Lesnar. If you listen to the show last night with Dave [Meltzer], everything we talked about is accurate other than the roster page. There are movements to bring him back."
Alvarez continued:
"I should add, regarding Brock, I'm not saying he's going to be back. I have no idea if he's going to be back. I wouldn't bring him back, but I can tell you that there have been inquiries made, and what that means, we will wait and see."
Brock Lesnar last wrestled at SummerSlam back in August, losing to Cody Rhodes in the third and final match of their 2023 trilogy.
Initial plans called for Lesnar to return at the Royal Rumble, fill the exact role that Bron Breakker had in that match, face Dominik Mysterio at Elimination Chamber - who would've eliminated Brock from the Rumble - and then battle Gunther at WrestleMania XL.
Those plans were completely dropped in the aftermath of former WWE employee Janel Grant's allegations of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse by Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis. Ms. Grant's lawsuit referenced an ex-WWE Champion and former UFC fighter, whom The Wall Street Journal identified as Brock Lesnar.
