Brock Lesnar's professional future is never far from the headlines, and the current WWE Universal Champion is back in the news today, with Dave Meltzer claiming 'The Beast Incarnate' will explore several options later this year.

Speaking on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said that Lesnar and Paul Heyman will negotiate with WWE, UFC, and AEW for Brock's next big contract, with talks commencing sometime after WrestleMania 35 and the next Saudi Arabian show.

Nobody should be surprised by this. As WWE's biggest special attraction, and one of only a handful of wrestlers still capable of moving the ratings needle, Lesnar has always used such situations as leverage in contract negotiations. All Elite Wrestling's emergence gives him even more power, and he'll likely be able to score a gigantic payday from wherever he ends up signing with.

AEW is an interesting proposition, as the promotion desperately needs stars on Lesnar's level to prosper. Chris Jericho is a good start, and Kenny Omega and Dean Ambrose would help greatly, but Brock, for all his criticisms, is a potential game-changer for the nascent promotion.

Let's see how desperate Vince McMahon is to keep his top champion.
