Brock Lesnar versus Braun Strowman is on the books for SummerSlam, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting. On top of that, Strowman is also set for a feud with Roman Reigns, which will presumably be a WWE Title feud. In Vince McMahon's mind, he probably sees Hogan versus Andre. To prepare the Black Sheep for all of that, the Observer says the WWE have plans to book him as the winner of this year's Andre The Giant Battle Royal. That will kick start a big push, eventually culminating in the match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. This means the chances of Strowman versus The Undertaker at WrestleMania are over. "Any talk of Undertaker vs. Strowman now is 99 percent dead," the Observer states. That's a relief, as that match would have undoubtedly sucked. At least against Lesnar at SummerSlam, Strowman will be in there against a younger guy who can physically boss the match. The occasion is also less pressured than WrestleMania. It just wouldn't have felt right if he'd been in a big match at Mania, but with a decent push, there's nothing wrong with B-show matches against Reigns and a SummerSlam Lesnar match. It isn't going to be technically great, but as an attraction he could draw.
