Carlito is possibly returning to WWE, according to former WWE creative writer Court Bauer and Konnan on MLW Radio. The 36 year old is a good worker, in addition to possessing confident charisma. He'd also be an asset based upon his Hispanic background. WWE badly want a top Hispanic star, because of how large and lucrative that market is. However, they're struggling to find a star who fits the bill, and it is believed that a return for Carlito could at least give some sort of boost to WWE popularity with the Hispanic audience. Carlito was a WWE intercontinental champion, US champion, and tag team champion. He had an initial big push against John Cena in 2004, but settled for lower card mediocrity over the following years. His exit from the company came in 2010, after violating WWE's wellness policy and refusing to go to rehab. He's now back on good terms with WWE, and attended their Hall Of Fame ceremony in 2014 to see his father Carlos Colon inducted. He's stayed active as a wrestler and continues to work in Puerto Rico and the indies.
