Last November, former WWE United States Champion Cesaro had to undergo surgery for a torn rotator cuff in his left shoulder. With Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, and later John Cena put on the disabled list for months, many hoped that Cesaro - who was told he would miss four to six months due to the injury - would be back in time for the roster-depleted WrestleMania 32. Sadly, that's not to be, as in an interview with Esquire Middle East, he has confirmed that he won't be ready to return to action for the event. 2015 was a year of ups and downs for Cesaro. He and Tyson Kidd captured the WWE Tag Team Championship at Fastlane, and when Kidd was injured in June, Cesaro once again became a singles worker. A series of classic Raw matches with then-U.S. Champion John Cena made Cesaro a star in the eyes of the WWE Universe, but the company was still reticent to commit to a push. He wound up on the losing end of a feud with Kevin Owens, then floundered until suffering his injury. Still, many fans had hoped that the vacancies toward the top of the card would force WWE to use Cesaro to his full potential if, indeed, "The King of Swing" was able to return in time for WrestleMania. With that no longer a possibility, only time will tell what Cesaro's position is when he is cleared for action. For his part, Cesaro has confirmed that he's now focused on making an impact at WrestleMania 33.
