Charlotte Flair Wins TENTH WWE Women's Championship At Hell In A Cell
'The Queen' topples Bayley to strike gold yet again...
Charlotte Flair cemented her status as SmackDown's top female star with a victory over former Champion Bayley just days before both will be subject to a brand new shake-up in the Draft. Having sustained and survived much of 'The Queen's offence in a match that went three times as long as their prior pay-per-view clash last month, the Champion fell victim to her second Figure Eight Leglock in the last three days - she was forced to tap from the agony.
It marked a bad night for the Boss N Hug Connection as Bayley's parner Sasha Banks fell to Becky Lynch in an ultra-spirited Hell In A Cell opener for the Raw Women's Title.
'The Hugger' had held the title since May's Money On The Bank, residing on the blue brand only slightly longer after a post-WrestleMania switch in the last time the rosters were rotated. During the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view, the announcers were at pains to try and explain the significance of this Friday's Draft to all superstars, noting that all talent currently without titles or television time would be jockeying for position to ensure their selection.
