The cheeky Canadian is too rich for any of this potential wrestling war to ultimately impact his financial future, but such comfort places him in rarified air as a man free to fire shots across the bow at his former employers if it bolsters the ground level support for All Elite Wrestling ahead of their maiden weekend.

Teflon to any blowback even if the company serve to use Brock as an effective briefcase holder, Jericho’s remarks echoed the sentiments of a sizeable portion of p*ssed off WWE fans that were obviously pleased with his quasi-squash loss at WrestleMania 35.

The All Elite crew have spoke at length about the steps they'll take to differentiate themselves from WWE's traditional booking patterns, with this latest Jericho jibe implying that the part-time highly paid guys (of which he is one) won't see quite as much freedom there as they do with Vince McMahon - yet another lofty promise that sardonic Tweets like this will insist get kept.
