In a little over one week the WWE returns to Chicago to host the Payback pay-per-view. This seems to be the last hope for many wrestling fans who wish to see the return of the Straight Edge Superstar CM Punk. It was reported months ago, prior to CM Punk leaving the WWE, that his current contract was set to expire in June. If Punk shocks the world and returns at Payback, that is a sure sign that he has inked a new deal with the WWE. However, if we do not see him on June 1st, than it looks like he has walked away from the WWE for good. If the latter occurs, many will wait and wonder what CM Punk's next career move will be. Punk made a name for himself through the Indy Wrestling scene, and eventually made his way to the big leagues. Once he reached the WWE, he worked hard to advance from the OVW training facility to the relaunched ECW and then onto SmackDown and RAW. Whether it was his size or his look, many of the higher ups in the WWE didn't believe in CM Punk. He proved them all wrong winning every major championship in the WWE, and built a reputation for himself in the ring and a strong following outside of it. Whatever project CM Punk chooses to do next, he will be able to use his fame and popularity from the years in the WWE, to make a big impact. If he chooses to continue wrestling, Punk will be the one in control and be able to pick which company he wrestles for and have creative control. If he decides to do something outside of the wrestling world, the buzz and attention he would bring to it would be unparalleled. The following are 10 things that CM Punk will do once his WWE contract expires.
