Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and CM Punk were conspicuous by their absence from AEW Dynamite's opening video last night, with the promotion seemingly moving to pull them in the wake of yesterday's news that all four men had been suspended.

While several AEW personalities alluded to the ongoing backstage situation on Dynamite, none of the quartet was mentioned by name. It appears, for now, that AEW is putting them on ice in several ways.

There is no word on the exact reason why Punk and co. were removed from the open.

It was confirmed yesterday that every talent present in CM Punk's locker room for the chaotic post-All Out 2022 brawl had been suspended by AEW. This number included the aforementioned names, plus Michael Nakazawa, head of talent relations Christopher Daniels, producer Pat Buck, and Ace Steel, who is understood to have attacked both Nick Jackson and Omega.

There is currently no word on how long Omega, the Bucks, and Punk are suspended, though their respective championships have been vacated. With The Elite dropping the World Trios Championships, Death Triangle have been crowned after defeating Orange Cassidy and Best Friends last night. Punk, meanwhile, who have needed to drop the World Title due to injury anyway, though his successor will be crowned via AEW's newly-announced Grand Slam Tournament of Champions.

AEW is yet to make an official statement on the suspensions - or the futures of those involved.
