Cody Rhodes' Pro Wrestling World Cup Replacement Announced
Keith Lee is coming to WCPW...
WCPW General Manager Adam Blampied revealed Thursday that current ROH champion Cody Rhodes would no longer be part of the Pro Wrestling World Cup USA Qualifiers on July 21 in Manchester.
His replacement was soon announced; Keith Lee will act as Cody's replacement in the brackets, bringing his impossibly agile big man antics to WCPW for the very first time.
Here's how the announcement went down;
Wowing crowds in companies like Ring Of Honor, PWG and Evolve with moves men his size should definitely not be able to physically pull off, Lee is a huge coup for the Pro Wrestling World Cup and could immediately become a dark horse in the USA Qualifiers.
James Storm, Ricochet, Jay Lethal, Matt Sydal and David Starr round out the full competitors in the US leg of the tournament. Lee will bring his extraordinary talents to the Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester next week and will be hoping to be one of two men who could qualify for the finals in August.
Tickets are still available for both the USA leg and the Rest Of The World Qualifier on July 22 in Newcastle from the official Pro Wrestling World Cup website.
