Cody Rhodes To Appear On WWE Friday Night SmackDown
Rhodes, Roman Reigns will be on the blue brand the same night, so watch for fireworks.
Just as it was announced that Roman Reigns would appear on SmackDown this Friday, Cody Rhodes upped the ante by decreeing that he also will be headed to the blue brand later this week, marking the first time the two WrestleMania opponents will be on the same show since Rhodes won the Royal Rumble.
Rhodes toppled Chad Gable in a competitive match before grabbing the mic and announcing that he was going to SmackDown this week. He continued the theme of pointing out that he and Roman have yet to stand in a ring face-to-face, despite Mania being a month away. This ongoing drumbeat of Reigns not acknowledging his challenger for the Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship only serves to heighten tension ahead of their eventual confrontation.
What say you, @HeymanHustle?

Although Cody didn't promise an actual confrontation, Paul Heyman later called Rhodes a gate-crasher on the Island of Relevancy and said that if Cody didn't confront Reigns, then he would be confronted instead.
While Heyman typically delivers spoilers, not predictions, there's no guarantee of Roman and Cody coming face-to-face on Friday. The rest of the Bloodline very easily could step in and run interference, further raising the tension levels and underscoring just how worried Reigns is with a fractured family stable.
Guess we'll just have to tune in on Friday to find out.
