Cody Rhodes Wants To Bring Back THIS Classic WWE Title
Could the 'American Nightmare' be at it again with another sentimental favourite?
Cody Rhodes wants to bring back the "Winged Eagle" WWE Championship should he eventually be successful in his attempt to live his and his father's dream of holding the gold.

Rhodes explained all to Corey Graves during an interview on his After The Bell podcast, noting (h/t ewrestlingnews.com);
“If the ultimate dream was to be achieved, I did do that once with the Intercontinental Title and it took a lot of work, but it was the right call once we got there. I think there is a particular design of the WWE Championship, that people are very fond of, I don’t even want to say it, it’s two words [Winged Eagle]. Hypothetically, it would be something, it really would be something to do that, achieve the ultimate industry dream and be the best of the best, ever and then perhaps give it a fresh coat of paint with the Winged Eagle, the redundantly named title, that would be something.”
Rhodes was famously credited with bringing back a treasured Intercontinental Championship design in 2012 as part of his attempt to beautify the organisation along with his own "dashing" face. He's hit upon yet another sweet spot with the beloved 1988-1998 variant.
