UFC was holding an event with the press on Friday in conjunction with promoting the upcoming UFC 202 PPV event. Following a much publicized disagreement with UFC earlier this year, McGregor will finally return to action by taking on Nate Diaz at the event on August 20th.

In regards to Cena, McGregor said the following to the press:

“What’s the main guy? John Cena, He’s 40, he’s 40 years of age. He’s walking around in a luminous orange t-shirt and a headband talking about how nobody can see him, we can see him right there. He’s a big fat, 40-year-old failed Mr. Olympia motherf*cker.”

Most feel that McGregor, a life-long wrestling fan, is clearly positioning himself to work with WWE in the very near future. It's not out of the question that Conor could be eyeing an appearance at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando next Spring.

WWE stars have been very vocal on social media in responding to McGregor's comments. It's not known whether they are doing this on their own accord or are being encouraged to do so in building up to an eventual working relationship with McGregor.
