The UFC 249 fight card is anticipated to be bolstered by the addition of several bouts from recent events that have been cancelled.

In an impromptu interview with Brett Okamoto of ESPN on Instagram Live, White announced that they were attempting to make UFC 249 "the baddest card that’s ever been done" and that the UFC matchmakers are working on adding the postponed bout between heavyweight contenders Francis Ngannou and Jairzinho Rozenstruik to the landmark event.

Originally scheduled to take place in Brooklyn, New York, the current location of where the event is happening is unknown, although White announced on Tuesday that the search for a venue is '99.9% done' and confirmed the fight will be contested behind closed doors.

Though White has remained tight-lipped on the location of the highly-anticipated event, bookmakers have marked Florida as the odds on favourite at 2/1, with the United Arab Emirates, Russia, and Mexico also rumoured as potential locations.
