Having departed All Elite Wrestling earlier this year, Alan Angels has addressed whether he has any interest in singing with WWE.

Speaking during a Talk is Jericho appearance (via 411 Mania), Chris Jericho brought up whether the former V of the Dark Order has aspirations to find a new home with the industry leader.

As Angels explained:

"I think about it sometimes. I don't know if I'm their cup of tea right now, but then I also see that they are bringing back some indie guys into the NXT scene, so it's something that I've kind of thought about but I've never really seriously considered it. You never know."

Having made his pro wrestling bow in 2016, Angels first appeared for AEW in April 2020, initially utilised as enhancement talent in matches against the likes of Lance Archer, Rey Fenix and Kenny Omega. That June would see the Georgia native formally join the Dark Order and become Five.

Angels' time with AEW came to an end - at least, for now - this June, with him opting to turn down a per-appearance deal to remain with Tony Khan's promotion.

As the grappler himself detailed during this TIJ chat, he felt that he had reached "the limit of where I could get" in AEW for now. Instead, Angels intends to showcase his talent and change the perception that people have of him being the "bottom guy of the Dark Order". The 24-year-old has been extremely active since exiting AEW, with him most notably working several matches for NJPW Strong.
