Dominik Mysterio Is Working BLIND At WWE Shows
Footage emerges of Judgment Day's young lion suffering the consequences of Asuka's mist.
Dominik Mysterio worked a weekend WWE live event match as if he were blind following a blue mist attack by Asuka on last Monday's Raw.
While some might have previously suggested his matches have looked like this all along, the bit was very much by design following 'The Empress Of Tomorrow' using her lethal spray on his face when he tried to interfere in her Number One Contender's clash. Leaning into the angle, Mysterio was seen receiving medical attention and crying for his "Mami" Rhea Ripley following 'The Nightmare's victory on the December 12th edition of Monday Night Raw.
The follow-through can all be seen in the clips recorded below (and as uploaded by user "Unseen WWE Footage") from the show in Rochester, Minnesota, with Bálor and Ripley having to assist Mysterio to the ring as well as help him face the right direction for the group's signature entrance pose.
The ailment could well have ramifications on his success going forward too - the group were defeated in a mixed six-person match by Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and Mia Yim in a continuation of The Judgment Day's ongoing dispute with The OC. While that feud may just about be over on television, it's possible and probable this latest development was being trialled on the house shows ahead of whatever tonight's Raw has in store for the second generation star.
