Having been shown in the audience of last week's NXT broadcast, Dragon Lee has now formally made his WWE in-ring debut.

As reported by the Wrestling Observer, Lee competed at last night's NXT house show from St. Petersburg, Florida. There, the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion defeated Eddy Thorpe, aka the former Karl Fredericks.

The WWE signing of Dragon Lee was announced by the star himself at AAA's Noche de Campeones event on 28 December. While he and his brother Dralistico defeated FTR to win the AAA Tag Team Titles on that night, Lee followed that up by telling the watching audience that he'd signed with WWE.

Reportedly, the hope was to debut Dragon Lee in early January, though visa issues prevented that from happening for WWE. With those issues now resolved, Lee appeared at NXT Roadblock last Tuesday, where he was shown in the crowd, much like the brand would do with debuting wrestlers during many a TakeOver event over the years.

In addition to working for AAA and NJPW, the 27-year-old has spent time in CMLL, Ring of Honor, and worked one match - a trios bout pitting Dragon Lee, RUSH and Andrade El Idolo against the Elite - for AEW last August.
