Olympic games coverage on USA Network means that starting from tonight, WWE NXT will air on SYFY rather than its usual channel for a fortnight.

WWE pre-taped both shows at the Capitol Wrestling Center last week. While the spoilers are out there if you want them, this article will focus only on what WWE has announced publically.

Taking top billing tonight will be Adam Cole vs. Bronson Reed. The two have been feuding for several weeks now, while Reed has been linked with a main roster call-up after working Main Event tapings and wrestling multiple SmackDown dark matches in reported "tryouts". This makes the match interesting beyond even what has happened on television.

Timothy Thatcher and Tommaso Ciampa will face Pete Dunne and Oney Lorcan in a battle of hard, gruff bruisers. Elsewhere, the Breakout Tournament continues as debutant Josh Briggs meets the more tenured Carmelo Hayes.

Ahead of the show, WWE has also released a teaser trailer hyping NXT Champion Karrion Kross' dominance atop the card.
