Ex-WWE Man Pitches HUGE AEW Matches For 2023
This former WWE star has been tearing it up in New Japan; now he wants AEW matches.
Former WWE star and current New Japan worker Fred Rosser (Darren Young of Nexus and Prime Time Players fame in the E) wants matches vs. Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley in AEW.
Rosser told MuscleManMalcolm on YouTube that he feels good about his in-ring work in 2023, and now fancies showing how much he's changed since the WWE days in featured spots on AEW programming. Specifically, he's eyeballing matches with Blackpool Combat Club members Danielson and Moxley.
He didn't pick those names out of a hat at random.
Rosser has been working hard to become an all-rounder inside the ring, and he'd like to test himself against a world class technician like Bryan. Meanwhile, Mox's harder edges as a wrestler mean Fred would have to adapt his game to a different style of match - he's totally up for that.
AEW does have another Forbidden Door pay-per-view on the horizon this year. That takes place on 25 June, and All Elite boss Tony Khan will be looking for some New Japan regulars to fill spots on the show.
Rosser has put himself forward for a place on the card.
