With IMPACT having filmed its latest TV tapings from Las Vegas this weekend, Alan Angels and Big Kon have now joined the ranks of VBD.

For Angels, the former Dark Order and AEW man joined Violent By Design on the first night of these tapings, assisting Eric Young and Deaner in laying a beatdown on Sami Callihan. While no specifics have been given, Big Kon - previously known as Konnor in WWE's Ascension - is also reported to have joined VBD over this weekend.

It's not known when exactly these additions to the EY-led faction will formally join VBD on TV, though this latest round of tapings were for the Anthem promotion's 3, 10 and 17 November episodes of its weekly television broadcast.

Violent By Design formed in November 2020, with Eric Young initially pairing off with Joe Doering before Deaner and Rhino were added to the stable. With Rhino no longer a part of VBD, and Doering unfortunately undergoing cancer treatment, the decision has clearly been made to flesh out Violent By Design's numbers.

Both Alan Angels and Big Kon have some 'previous' with IMPACT. For Angels, the one-time V of the Dark Order unsuccessfully challenged for 'Speedball' Mike Bailey's X-Division Championship this past July. In the case of Big Kon, the one-time NXT Tag Team Champion came up short in singles action against both Josh Alexander and Eddie Edwards at the start of the year. In addition to this, the powerhouse actually made one brief appearance for the then-TNA back in 2004, where he lost in quick fashion to Jeff Jarrett.
