Former ROH Champion Debuts At Latest IMPACT Wrestling Tapings
This one-time ROH TV Champion appeared at this weekend's IMPACT tapings.
As per PWInsider.com, Shane Taylor made his IMPACT Wrestling debut at last night's set of TV tapings from Dallas, Texas. There, the former ROH Television Champion worked against Crazzy Steve.
Having been with Ring of Honor as far back as 2014, Taylor was last in action for the promotion at Final Battle last December. A PPV which was the end of the previous iteration of ROH, that show saw the powerhouse pick up a win over Kenny King. Since then, Taylor has remained active on the independent scene.
Whether the 36-year-old's IMPACT appearance is a one-off or something more concrete, that remains to be seen. Of course, the Anthem promotion has quite the heavy ROH presence lately, with the Honor No More faction - which consists of Eddie Edwards and several former ROH talents - playing a pivotal part on IMPACT television in recent months.
In addition to having held the ROH TV Title, Taylor also won the company's Six-Man Tag Team Championships with Kaun and Moses. As of yet, the Cleveland native has yet to be featured for ROH since Tony Khan purchased the promotion earlier this year.
