Last night's debut-heavy All Elite Wrestling show in Houston, Texas continued after the live Dynamite broadcast had finished, with former WWE man Big Damo making his debut for the promotion during the evening's Rampage tapings.

Damo, who wrestled as Killian Dain in WWE, fought Shawn Spears in a warm-up bout for The Pinnacle man ahead of his steel cage match with Wardlow on next week's Dynamite. Per the Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online, Spears picked up the expected victory.

Whether or not Damo has further AEW dates on his schedule remains to be seen. Nonetheless, this was his highest-profile wrestling appearance since being released by WWE as part of one of its swooping rounds of "budget cuts" in June 2021, ending a five-year association with the world's biggest promotion.

As Killian Dain, Damo hit his highest WWE heights as part of the Sanity stable. His affiliation with the group saw him enjoy a spell as a co-NXT Tag Team Champion, even though stablemates Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe had originally won the belts.

Damo has been busy since leaving WWE, working independent promotions on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, including Black Label Pro, PROGRESS, and ICW.
