Four New Matches Added To Impact Wrestling Turning Point 2020
A stacked card continues to grow ahead of Turning Point this Saturday.
Coming out of last night's Impact Wrestling, the card for this Saturday's Impact Plus special Turning Point appears to be completed, with the addition of four new matches.
Fresh off his defeat of TJP, Rohit Raju will again issue a Defeat Rohit Challenge to anyone who wishes to take the X Division Championship from around his waist. With TJP unable to challenge 'The Desi Hitman' ever again, and Chris Bey seemingly moving on to pastures new in the World Championship picture, we're on track to see a brand new challenger for Rohit.
Ahead of the Knockouts Tag Team Championships Tournament kicking off next Tuesday, Tenille Dashwood and Jordynne Grace will collide with Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie, both teams vying to lift the straps this coming January. With Tenille and Jordynne's pairings with Madison Rayne and Alisha Edwards respectively both falling flat, it seems as if the recent rivals are willing to put their differences aside in order to lift some championships.
Finally, two Bound For Glory returnees will compete, as Daivari battles Eddie Edwards, while James Storm steps up to help Chris Sabin combat XXXL. Alongside Swoggle, Daivari and Storm both returned in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match, and while their status in Impact was up in the air at the time - and still is, for that matter - it's great to see them both getting another opportunity.
Here's how the Turning Point card currently looks ahead of Saturday:
Impact World Title: Rich Swann (c) vs. Sami Callihan
Impact Knockouts Title No Disqualifications Match: Su Yung (c) vs. Deonna Purrazzo
Impact World Tag Team Titles: The North (c) vs. The Good Brothers
