Frank Mir Open To Wrestling For WWE, Lesnar vs Mir 3 Could Happen?

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion reveals he would be open to an offer from Vince McMahon to come to the WWE.

Chronicle Journal, Mir admitted he couldn't rule out a move to Pro Wrestling;

€œNot opposed to the idea,€ Mir said. €œI can€™t do a back flip or anything.€
There have been rumours over the past few weeks that other UFC stars are interested in coming to WWE for a similar "big money Lesnar offer". Roy Nelson and Tito Ortiz both publically expressed their interest in a move to pro wrestling if the money was right and now Mir, although not exactly as blatant as others, is perhaps making a subtle oveture for McMahon to make him an offer. Of course for McMahon, Mir has no prior relationship to the WWE where Lesnar made his name at the company and was a former WWE Champion who had main evented WrestleMania. But the idea for a "worked" match between Lesnar and his biggest UFC rival Mir on a WWE show would be an intriguing idea and may have enough box office potential in two matches (i.e. with a rematch) that it would be worth McMahon giving Mir a similar deal to Lesnar. There is also the possibility that McMahon has closed the door to MMA performers who have no prior WWE experience and he wouldn't be interested in Mir. There was a story a few years back that McMahon vowed to never open negotiations with MMA fighters after failing to agree a deal with Bob Sapp after lengthy rounds of talks. McMahon is also reluctant to publically see UFC or MMA as a competitor in their market place and probably believes their stars are beneath the WWE. Not to mention the current WWE/Lesnar situation where Brock's attitude and demands has made McMahon regret the deal he signed with him just weeks after they signed the contract, make a move for Mir unlikely.
